I’m the chairman of a management committee, that is responsible for de fish stock en their habitat, of a association that provides the permit for all the waters in my home town.
The biggest pike I ever caught was 119cm on a Shadclone Pearl, with an orange fire tiger tail glued on it.
I’m a big lure buff ( such as; 12 "Revo Shad, (2)Pounder Bull-Dawg and so) but its not also that effective. That’s why my top 5 consist my most popular en most catching fishing lures.

I’m a landscape architect and urban designer, next to my 'profession' as a pike fisherman. In daily life I'm managing my design company. In the meantime I'm trying to fish as much as possible. That's not always a big succes though.
My philosophy is 'and now something completely different' like Monty Python used to say. Whether it's pike fishing (creating my own spinners and lures), fly fishing and fly tying or carp fishing, I just like to experiment and try to find new strategies to catch (more) fish. And one day that philosophy will work. The Shadclone Green Shiner made my day: my personal record of 100,5 cm was updated to a mighty 117 cm (46inch) to be exact. A PikeXL indeed! And 97cm/38inch on the fly rod on a rabbitskin streamer, nothing to be ashamed off...

All of my life I am fishing on fresh- and salt water. During the last 10 years I fish mainly on Pike and Trout. Most of the time I go out with my boat.
